Management for musicians
This workshop is intended to explain the first steps in the professional career of a musician and how to relate to artistic agencies and music promoters. Likewise, the labor and contract legislation in Europe will be explained very briefly and all the procedures to be able to play concerts professionally: Self-Employed Status, A1 and Social Security Forms, Work Visas
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Pablo Vidal
Trained as a violinist, Pablo Vidal currently combines his teaching and concert activities with intense work in music management. Pablo is currently in charge of the musical design and artistic development of various festivals and concert series such as the Groba Festival, Sociedad Filarmónica de Vilagarcía o Sociedad Filarmónica de A Coruña. As an artistic consultant for Diamond Artists – International Artist Management, Pablo works daily with top notch artists as Guy Braunstein, Amihai Grosz, Federico Colli, Santiago Cañón-Valencia or David Finckel and Wu Han duo.
